Executive Coaching

Coaching is one of the favorite things we do at Starboard3. We like doing DISC profiles, and we like business impact training, and team development. But Executive coaching has a unique set of rewards.
Imagine a conversation that is entirely focused on you. A conversation that is focused on helping set, reach and achieve your goals. A conversation where questions are asked not to bring you to understand the point of view of the coach, but rather to help you clarify you own point of view.
That is why coaching is a little bit addictive. For the client it is addictive because it is a change to a safe/confidential environment where they can be vulnerable with their coach and themselves. Coaching is addictive for the coaches because we get to see a person in a whole way. We see their ambitions, desires, fears, and worries. It can sound creepy, but it also a intriguing way to get to know a people.

The odd thing is that many people assume that when you dig down to the center of a persons wants and desires you find a selfish, vain person. I have found just the opposite. When you dig down to the center of a person, you find someone who want to do the most good in the world in the best ways, and want to add value to others and themselves through their gifts and skills. Its kind of an amazing way to spend time.
